Accessibility

The tarot ritual uses ordinary HTML text and buttons, not a canvas. No audio is required. We aim to make the experience usable with keyboards, touch and assistive technology, but do not claim independent accessibility certification.

Keyboard and reading

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls, and Enter or Space to activate a focused button. A skip link moves past navigation. Topic choices advance immediately. Your own words are optional; the skip action continues without submitting them.

Card buttons conceal their identities until you turn them over. After all cards are revealed, the AI reading appears in the same area. Use the previous and next controls for longer text. Follow-up questions are optional.

Motion and layout

Select a face-down card once to lift it, then activate the same card again to confirm; selecting another card changes your choice. Enter and Space work like a click. The final confirmation starts the AI reading. Enable reduced motion in your operating system to skip dealing, card-lift and waiting animations. Completed readings have suggested questions and a free-text option, with the next reading's cost shown before you choose. Short windows or high zoom may require scrolling.

Optional sound

Use Play ambience at the top of the tarot room to enable quiet instrumental tones and card sounds, and Mute ambience to stop them. Sound starts only when you choose it and pauses in background tabs. It is generated in your browser without recording or sending audio. All information is also available as text.

Known limitations

Interactive readings require JavaScript, an internet connection and an available AI provider. The dark visual theme and decorative card artwork may not work equally well for everyone. Browser and screen-reader combinations can differ. AI-generated text can contain errors and is only for entertainment.
