The story
Emperor Taizong led the campaign against the north and was trapped in the city of Muyang. Cheng Yaojin went back for reinforcements, was captured, and talked a foreign princess into releasing him. At the tournament held to choose a commander for the northern campaign, the seventeen-year-old Luo Tong won first place, took the marshal's seal, and made his name in a single campaign.
