The imagery

The high vantage point is the whole argument of the card: he can see further than the people down on the shore, which is what allows him to wait without panicking. The colours are warm and open, sand and gold and sea, and nothing blocks the horizon. This is the card of the long look, of enterprise launched and now needing distance, trade, and time.
